Effipro Duo Gatto Virbac is a broad-spectrum topical antiparasiticide that offers effective protection against fleas and ticks for your cat.
Active ingredients:
Fipronil: An insecticide and acaricide that eliminates adult fleas and larvae, ticks and lice.
Piriproxifen: An insect growth regulator that inhibits flea reproduction by preventing the development of eggs into adult fleas.
Indications:
Treatment and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides felis) infestations for 5 weeks.
Prevention of flea multiplication for 12 weeks.
Treatment of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus turanicus) for 1 week.
Can be used as part of the strategic treatment for the control of allergic flea dermatitis (APD).
Method of use:
Remove the pipette seal.
Divide the cat's hair at the base of the neck until the skin is visible.
Apply the entire contents of the pipette directly to the skin in a spot or two.
Avoid contact with the cat's eyes and mouth.
Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Contraindications:
Do not use on sick or convalescent cats.
Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks of age.
Do not use on cats hypersensitive to fipronil or pyriproxifene.
Do not use in conjunction with other pesticides.
Precautions:
Avoid contact with the cat's eyes and mouth.
In case of contact with the eyes, flush thoroughly with water.
In case of accidental ingestion, consult a veterinarian.
Keep out of the reach of children.
